Every year the Wooden Boat Festival draws thousands of wooden boat enthusiasts to our little town. This year was about as good as it gets with perfect weather and an overflow of boats. These are a few of the photos I shot that day.

Wow, for some reason I just now discovered your site and it’s spectacular. And YOU are an amazing and fascinating woman. What a life you’ve been living. Should have known with one look a that hair of yours that there’s a lot under your hood!
Thanks for your kind words. I’ve spent most of my life traveling around the world and thrive on it. I was a Navy brat and it’s ruined me forever, I always want to go new places and try new things. Luckily my husband does too :)
Nice site Nancy and thanks for writing the story of the gull. You’re right. At this time of year and with a reality show of Gulls starring in “The Birds II” downtown, most people are not on the side of helping one these days. I did not know the laws you mentioned and am nutty enough to think about doing all the things you all did:) So, I learned a little, got a laugh and was happy for the happy ending. Long live creativity!
