August, is it really August? Here, in the upper left hand corner of the map, we’re wondering if summer may be over. The fog drip this morning more resembled rain. What happened to summer?
But fortunately fog drip and rain are the perfect photo opts. I’m continuously awed by the beauty here, even in my garden.
Spring is in full bloom here in the Pacific Northwest. The warm days are a mix of sunshine and occasional rain showers. Rain droplets still clung to the flowers this morning after last nights shower and I couldn’t resist taking these photos.
One of my favorite subjects to photograph is flowers, especially close-ups. While eating lunch outside the other day I happened to notice the beauty of the underside this potted Gerbera daisy. I particularly loved the softness of color. After lunch the camera came out. These are two of my favorite shots from that set of photos.
