The end of Day 4, we’re having a great time watching it come alive.

Here’s a little info about the mural. We are painting it here in Port Townsend upstairs in the Union Bank building. Its 50′ long and 5′ high, one-third of the size it will be in the Necedah Visitor Center. What you’re seeing on the wall is only two-thirds of the mural, the other third will be added as we finish the first third. Once it’s done it will be rolled and shipped to the design/fabrication company who will scan it and reproduce it to it’s required 150′ x 15′. It’s painted on ‘yupo’ a synthetic paper that is waterproof, recyclable and tree-free. It can’t be torn and may be cleaned. We’re using acrylic paint which sticks and won’t flake off when creased, pretty amazing stuff.

I’d like to thank Kerry and Union Bank for accommodating our need for a 50′ wall! Thank you!

Thanks for reading.
